Counterspy Quarantine help?

My computer has been freezing and i constantly have been having to flip the switch and start it up again which im sure is a bad thing definitely not a good thing. So i visited my computer makers support guide (Dell) and they told me to run a Counterspy scan. So i installed the program and ran a scan, the results turned out 10 programs 9 of which i could quarantine which they said would be the safest option so i did and the other risk was removed because i could not quarantine it.

Counter spy is a 15 day trial so i will uninstall it when the free trial finished.

My question is "When i delete Counterspy, what will happen to the quarantined items?"

I want the quarantined items to be gone for good.

An additional question i ask is " with all other antivirus programs when i uninstall the program what happens to the quarantined items?"

The things won't be released again! (I think) They will either be deleted, or left neutralised somewhere on your computer. You should be able to view and delete them somewhere in the counterspy interface.

To protect your computer in the future, make sure you have anti-virus and anti-spyware protection (you can do this for free).

Anti-virus (don't have two at once) http://www.free-av.com/

Anti-spyware (as many as you like): http://www.spywareterminator.com/
